Thinking that picking out a toilet training seat would be an easy task, I was shocked at just how many different models are available. Being a parent who has never potty trained anything other than two cats I was in for quite the surprise and was soon overwhelmed with the amount of choices.

Handles are another consideration you want to think about. Handles allow your child to hang on if they feel a little scared and provide a nice sense of security. They also can help when it comes time to push that number 2 out

Lastly, remember to consider who will be using the bathroom. Do you have a bathroom that is going to used for your child and your child alone during potty training?
